Video Games Movies That Should Be Made

(2) Uncharted

I’m gonna go ahead and say it. If the film industry makes Uncharted into a movie, and they cast Nathan Fillion as Drake, it will make them one billion US dollars. 

Full disclosure, I am a bit of Fillion Fan Boy, but that’s just because he is an incredibly talented actor who has never let fame ruin his personality. 

Also, he was Mal in Firefly.

Oh captain, my captain

Uncharted is already a movie, just with incredible gameplay mixed in. The series had some of the best set-piece events of the last decade, and the writing was top notch. Turning it into a movie should be child’s play. 

You have exotic locales, gunfights aboard moving trains, monsters and mayhem and just a little magic. And supporting all of it is Nathan Drake, a hilarious leading man with an incredible sense for comedic timing. There’s love, loss and everything in between. It is a guaranteed good time, and could be one of the biggest hits on the big screen since Indiana Jones. 

Just don’t go ruining it by changing something. Seriously, Hollywood, I know you too well. Leave a good thing alone. 

And if you even mention the name Uwe Boll, I’ll end you.
