The End of the Road
Uncharted 4 is a masterpiece. It blends together the best elements of modern gaming with a carefully and expertly crafted story. The characters are memorable, lovable, and masterfully scripted. It is gorgeous in a way we have never seen before, and will stand as the landmark for many years to come.
It is not a perfect game. There are graphical issues, some glitches still to be ironed out, and some pacing issues in the second act. Still, all these are minor when viewed as a whole. The game is, simply put, a crowning achievement in the medium.
You will be done playing the game in roughly 15 hours, but you will be talking about it for years to come.
Game of the Year doesn’t seem praise enough. Naughty Dog has spun gold, and we are lucky to be around to play.
