While this week has been all about Destiny and photorealism in the new NBA2k15, what we really should be talking about is the shear lack of epic storytelling in this new generation. Coming so swiftly after the release of The Last of Us, consoles seem to have fallen backwards in terms of plotlines. We are seeing the the rise of “faceless space marines” and “boring tech demos” when we should be bearing witness to a revolution in games.
