Even when fighting the undead, never skip a leg day
You play as Belmont, a vampire hunter who specializes in kicking whipping the bloodsucking fiends back to Hell. Armed with a slew of weapons, you take on the denizens of the underworld in a one-man quest to kill Dracula. It cannot get more epic.

How can you start the game, listen to that, and not be pumped? It has equal parts horror and metal smashed together in a collision of monophonic sounds, which makes it the perfect match for this side-scrolling whip-em-up.
Now those are eight sexy bits right there
All of the music in the game was great, composed using plastic keyboard and a passion for muzak. Each hall bore a slight variation on the theme, and boss battles were an incredible mix of several chords.
OK, maybe these old games are a bit lacking in the sound department. Why don’t we skip ahead a few generations and get to some real audiophilia?
