The Morning Roundup: Two-Face Revealed, Bruno Gets a Release Date, Burn After Reading Poster

ImageThis morning we have a video clip from The Dark Knight featuring Two-Face, news of the next collaboration between J.J. Abrams and Paramount, the first one-sheet for the Coen brothers upcoming film Burn After Reading, and more!

 

Mark Wahlberg talked to MTV about his upcoming role as Max Payne in the video game adaptation Max Payne.

“I read the script and said either somebody got really creative or it’s actually more like a movie than most games… Max Payne is not a one-trick pony. It’s probably one of the edgier roles I’ve played but also the most layered. Here’s a very happy guy who worked a dismal job, had a beautiful family. But the beauty in his life was taken away. He just goes on a rampage. It’s all driven by emotion.”

Hmmm…I never played this game, but it sounds like a knock-off of Marvel's The Punisher, doesn't it?

Paramount and J.J. Abrams are teaming for another film, this time based on, get this, an article in the NY Times detailing the aftermath of a contractor with WAY too much time on his hands:

"The Fifth Avenue home, described as a giant '20s-era co-op with Central Park views, was gutted several years ago at the behest of a couple, who later moved in with their four children. An architectural designer who oversaw the rehab job left behind a series of messages, games and treasures, unbeknownst to the family, who eventually unraveled a mystery that featured a poem, a book, a soundtrack and a host of historical figures."

Sacha Baron Cohen's upcoming undercover-comedy-pseudo-reality film follow-up to Borat (how would you describe it?) Bruno has been given a summer release date.  Universal announced it will be due out May 15th, 2009.
