This morning we have some very sad news to report regarding the deaths of two talented performers, Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac. On a much lighter note we have the weekend box office report, new Star Trek character posters, and more.
How much longer are new releases goign to have to settle for second place? TDK held the #1 spot at the box office for a fourth week in a row and has moved into the third spot on the all time list behind Star Wars and Titanic.

Legendary singer/songwriter Isaac Hayes has died. Hayes was found unconscious in his home near a treadmill, and it is believeb Hayes may have suffered a heart attack and possibly a stroke simultaneously. Hayes was 65.
In another bit of sad news, comedian Bernie Mac also passed away over the weekend. Mac died of complications from a bout with pneumonia. He was 50.
Getting back to our usual fare, could Paul Greengrass be replacing Steven Spielberg as director of a remake of The Trial of the Chicago 7?
Will Tropic Thunder be boycotted for its movie-within-a-movie Simple Jack? Even so, there are apparently no plans to make cuts to the film.
We've got new character posters from the upcoming Star Trek movie.
