The helmer of Pirates of the Caribbean has signed on to bring the eminent video game BioShock to the screen, and on TV, Bruce Boxleitner has joined the cast of NBC's popular superhero drama.

In more Heroes casting news, TRON has joined the cast. That's right – Bruce Boxleitner will be on Heroes next season with Friday Night Light's Brea Grant, who gave an interview to the AP today.

In great news for videogame fans – I think – Gore Verbinski of Pirates of the Caribbean fame will direct the film version of BioShock.
