Class Warfare

As with any good RPG, rolling your class is the first step of the journey. ESO offers four classes to start from, but then offers endless customization. Choose to be a powerful Dragonknight, a goodly Templar, a godlike Sorcerer, or the stealthy Nightblade. Even after picking your starting traits, you will not find closed off paths down the road. Do you want a Sorcerer decked out in heavy armor, weilding a battleaxe? You can do it. Want a Templar who specializes in conjuring? Can do.

As with the other Elder Scrolls games, ESO allows you to grow as a character depending solely on your play style. Each swing of your sword makes you a better fighter. Each time you heal another player, your magical power grows.

In addition, ESO will feature ranks for each weapon, spell and power. As you use them, they level up, growing in power and gaining you a new skill. At a higher level, carrying heavy armor influences your stamina less and less. Your sword becomes a dancing blade, slicing with practiced precision.

Don’t like the species your playing? No problem. Hunt down a werewolf and join team Jacob. Or maybe you’d rather become a master assassin? Perhaps stealing is more your game. The options are limitless.
