The Best Voice Artists in Video Games

Nolan North – Uncharted

It is simply impossible not to know Nolan North. He went from being just another super handsome middle-aged man to one of the most prolific voice actors on Earth in pretty short order, and it’s no mystery why. Nolan’s emotional resonance and powerhouse performances make him an easy sell a leading man. Most well-known for Nathan Drake in Uncharted, Nolan has also been behind many of your other favorite characters. 

With his ability to convey smugness through only his voice, he was a natural pick for Deadpool in a host of games. You might have recognized him as Desmond Miles, the main character in the less-interesting portions of Assassin’s Creed. He has also played Rocket Raccoon, Kraang, Cyclops and the Prince of Freaking Persia. Not to mention he was the lead in one of my favorite cult games, Spec Ops: The Line. 

Nolan is considered by many to be one of the best voice actors in the world. I certainly don’t disagree, but I do know a couple more who are just as amazing.
