8)  Chainsawed, Resident Evil / The Evil Within

Chainsaws, it seems, have only two uses: Murder and accidental murder. 

Unless you are a lumberjack or a flesh-wearing Texan, you have no business being anywhere near one of these death-machines. So of course every psycho-monster-zombie in history has to have one. 

The most famous, of course, comes from Resident Evil 4. Literally one of the first enemies you face in the game, this bastard delivered a one-shot-kill that stopped the show immediately. 

Not to be outdone, the latest survival-horror title to launch had to up the ante in terms of sheer disturb-itude.
