On October 7th, the story will begin. Written by Red Dead Redemptions Christian Cantamessa, Shadow of Mordor looks to be the most promising adventure title of the year. The graphics are impressive, but that’s to be expected in a next-gen game. What makes this worth the look is the attention to detail, the intricate combat system, and the creative Nemesis development of enemy characters.

No matter how you feel about the books or the movies, if you enjoy slaying monsters and being an epic bad ass, you need to keep an eye on Shadow of Mordor this Fall.
