“Renewed Shall Be Blade That Was Broken”

Talion can handle his share of Orcs thanks to a fairly deep combat system. Based somewhere between Assassin’s Creed and Arkham City, Shadow of Mordor will keep players moving and stabbing despite the hordes of monsters all around. Talion rolls, grapples and parries with finesse and style, making the combat as enjoyable to play as it is to watch.

And this Ranger can do more than just murder. Talion can use his Wraith abilities to possess enemies, shoot arrows into limbs and even chuck enemies into fire pits. The environment is very much your ally in this game.

More than that, Talion’s skills grow as the game progresses. Using RPG elements, Shadow will allow for some amount of customization for your Ranger. Is he a long-range menace or deadly over short distances? You decide based on your own preferences and play style.
