We’ve been following the development of the Justice League of America film, and it could be that it’s all been for naught. IESB is reporting that the JLA film "is indeed in danger of not starting production on time and maybe even getting scrapped altogether."
Why the potential demise? IESB’s sources cite two main reasons: a script not up to snuff and a budget that is out of control.
Also contributing to JLA’s problems is a sense of dissatisfaction by Christopher Nolan and company about a Justice League film moving forward despite all the excitement over The Dark Knight.
The final verdict? Unknown at this point, but IESB reports that the official word from an industry insider is:
"Justice League has been pushed back to at least April or May and possibly a start date as late as June or July…that is of course if the movie doesn’t get scrapped altogether."
