New York Socialites Rejoice: Broadway is Back

The nineteen-day work stoppage on Broadway has been ended, as producers and stage hands have come to an agreement that will turn the lights back on, and get all the shows on the Great White Way running once more.

Fans all over the world can finally breathe easier knowing that, no matter what else might be going wrong with their lives, rich tourists and Long Island socialites can once more be entertained at $100 per seat.

"New York was a colder place this fall, without The Drowsy Chaperone playing each night." Someone almost certainly said throughout these past three weeks. And they would be right. New York IS Broadway, and vice versa. What's the sense of even GOING there if you can't be tempted to go watch Legally Blonde the Musical, Young Frankenstein the Musical, Monty Python the Musical (Spamalot), and 90s Artists Have AIDS the Musical (Rent)?

Luckily for us all, this nightmare has ended.
