New Indiana Jones Trailer Hits Internet, Making It Up As It Goes Along

OK, you back? First, as everyone following this movie now knows, Indy somehow makes his way back to the warehouse where the Ark of the Covenant had been stored. Once there, he recovers a crate with this stenciling:

Later in the trailer, we see Cate Blanchett's Soviet soldier lean down to peer at a steel encasing of some kind with this text:

Roswell, New Mexico 1947

So, no surprise – this one's about aliens, or at least the extra-terrestrial hoopla surrounding Roswell, N.M., and the 1947 UFO incident.

I remember that Roger Ebert, in his reviews of Temple of Doom and Last Crusade, said he preferred Temple of Doom because it explored new pulp-fictional territory, whereas Last Crusade was mostly a retread of Raiders.

I prefer Temple of Doom myself, and in any event, I'm glad to see that this fourth Indy movie has been forced by time to explore new territory.

Damn. I can't wait. I can't fucking wait.
