Jason Statham To Stab More Hearts with Adrenaline Boosters in “Crank” Sequel

Somehow, Statham's immortally named character Chev Chelios survived a plummet from a helicopter at the end of the original Crank to return for Crank 2: Electric Boogaloo.

The pitch for the new Lionsgate/Lakeshore team-up sounds righteous, though: Chinese gangster puts a mechanical heart into Chev's chest, and it needs constants jolts of electricity to keep going. My only regret is that you can't deliver adrenaline injections to mechanical hearts. Maybe Chev could inject the adrenaline into his nards?

Variety is also reporting that the two companies are teaming up on a flick called Game, starring Gerard Butler. It's a fururistic thriller, and it's also Michael C. Hall, who apparently hasn't learned his lesson about futuristic thrillers after Paycheck.
