Image of the New Enterprise: A Rumor Debunked?

The guys at AICN have linked to an image that possibly depicts the new design for the Enterprise in Abrams upcoming Star Trek movie. While pointing out that it is "very, very unconfirmed" the report at Movietome indicates they think it’s legit.

Only problem is a user comment claims this is purely fan concept art, made by uber-Trekkie and special effects designer Gabe Koerner. Since it’s something of a slow news day, I thought I’d post this anyway, because it brings up an interesting question.

Now whether this is real or not, it begs the (truly geeky) question, what do you think the new Enterprise should look like? Faithful to the original? Radically new design? Sound off in the forums!
