Lone Survivor

Lone Surivivor is a complete psychological head trip.  A pixelated nightmare set in a apartment complex that hearkens back to the original Silent Hill and Resident Evil style horror.  What Lone Survivor truly excels at is sound design.  Turn off the lights and turn the volume up.  Allow for the soundscape to get under your skin and project its dismal and violent mood into your being.

Though a pixel based game, the imagery execution is on point.  It truly evokes the imagination to fill in the gaps and run with the objective of the pixel style.  Lone Survivor is also a survival game.  Food, water, and sleep are necessary to maintain health and mental state.  The more you dig in, the more the mystery of the circumstances and story come to light.  Playing through the game, you’ll begin to question the sanity of the protagonist and the reality that is or may be.  Lone Survivor is a game that feels as if it may have the longest effect on your mental state and emotional stability.  It is a must play.
