‘Hairspray’ Big Winner at Olivier Awards

Did you think the awards season was over? Not so! In England this weekend the Oliviers were handed out, honoring achievement on the stage in London’s storied West End.
And what’s this? The Yank production Hairspray took the top honors with awards for musical, actress (Leanne Jones), actor (Michael Ball) and supporting performance in a musical (Tracie Bennett). And kudos to geek favorite Chiwetel Ejiofor for his win for best actor for Othello.
