Lizard Squad is a hacker group that seems to target gaming servers specifically. They have claimed responsibility for the attacks on both the PSN and XBOX Live servers. While these claims have been uncomfirmed at this time, they are the only group lending a face to these anonymous hacks. 

Lizard Squad presents itself as an order of chaos, insisting that they “just want to watch the world burn,” and that “disrespect=disconnect.”
