What Were You Gonna Do with $60 Anyway? 

Seriously?

You can’t take someone out on a date for that anymore. A movie ticket costs somewhere between the payment on a Kia and the mortgage on a house, and that’s without the 3D / Prime / X-Treme DLP crap theaters like to throw in nowadays.

Maybe you’ll fill up your gas tank? Sure. Once. And then what? Drive around and waste that precious fuel? Why not save the environment and stay at home murdering fake people? Al Gore will thank you personally with a hug that lasts a little too long and a slide whistle.

Or maybe you’ve decided that spending all your money on material things is not the way to truly enjoy life, and you are going to spend your money on memories instead. Well, if that’s the case, why don’t you send me the $60 and I’ll waste it for you? See, I can be a real friend to those in need.

If you haven’t yet purchased a new console, then perhaps this argument is moot for you, but the day will come where you can’t hide behind unreasonable prices. The PS4 will fall below $300, and the XBox One will follow shortly after. What will you do then, when the eyes of the world fall on you?

For my sake, I don’t care which system I get it for. I just know that, come Fall 2014, I’m slipping back into the Animus for another bloody adventure.
