First Glimpse of a Crystal Skull from Indy IV!

So here it is! Check out what those crystal skulls are going to look like:

That doesn’t appear to be entirely human, does it? I’m no expert, but the bone structure doesn’t even seem to match up to any known precursors of Homo sapiens. Could it be alien? Will extraterrestrials figure into the plot of Indy IV? That seems to jive with spoilers revealed a few weeks ago by Lucas:

“…instead of doing a 30s Republic serial, we’re doing a B science-fiction movie from the 50s. The ones I’m talking about are, like, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Blob, The Thing.”
