Craig’s License to Kill is Extended for More Bond Films

While discussing the looming Writers' Guild of America strike, Harry Sloan (chairman and CEO of MGM) let it slip that Daniel Craig was recently signed to do "four more" James Bond films.

While the guys at JoBlo are interpreting that to include Casino Royale and the as-yet-unnamed Bond 22 film, Dark Horizons is reporting that means four more after Casino Royale, bringing his total to five films.

Depending on what the reality of the deal is, this puts Craig somewhere between Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery for number of Bond films starred in, but regardless he'll be starring in more than George Lazenby or Timothy Dalton.  Roger Moore's record of seven Bond films could remain untouched.
