The Dream Merchant is a six-issue sci-fi miniseries. It follows Winslow, a troubled mental patient in his late teens. Edmonson states Winslow is the creative type many people are familiar with: he can’t focus in school and has trouble relating to other people. His best friend is also a schizo in a mental hospital. Winslow’s problem is that he suffers from a recurring dream that gets more intense every night. When he discovers its true meaning, the world will literally change, as his dream is about what the world has been made to forget. The Dream Merchant is set for May 15.

Lazarus is an ongoing series set in a dystopian society where the elite Families who control the wealth control every aspect of the world. The individuals serving these powerful Families are called their “Lazarus”, lethal protectors of their families’ interests. The story follows a young woman called Forever, the Lazarus of the Carlyle Family. This Family controls the world’s genetic research and development. Manipulated by her Family patriarch, Forever is willing to kill and die for him. Her story starts the day she is killed and her journey is that of finding out what and who she is in a world that sees her as something less—and more—than human. This story, releasing on June 26, raises the questions of nature versus nurture, power, and corruption.
Trillium #1 (Vertigo)
by Jeff Lemire (Writer/Illustrator)
Trillium is a 10-issue series that follows two characters separated by thousands of years and hundreds of millions of miles. In the year 3797, scientist Nika Temsmith is researching a species of strange life forms on a remote science station near the outermost rim of colonized space. In the year 1921, a war-scarred explorer named William Pike leads an expedition into the dense jungles of Peru in search of the “Lost Temple of The Incas”, which is rumored to hold healing properties. Somehow, the two cross paths, fall in love, and bring about the end of the universe. Lemire states this isn’t just a love story. It’s the last love story ever told. Trillium launches in August.
