CC2K Co-Founder Shoots Book Trailer for Sci-Fi Novel, The Odds

CC2K Co-founder Robert J. Peterson shot the book trailer for his sci-fi novel The Odds last night. Here’s his report:
We shot the book trailer for The Odds last night at my friend Dennis Mao’s incredible Japanese grill Robata-Ya on Sawtelle in Los Angeles. I had lunch there while scouting the space, and I can’t wait to go back. Thanks to Dennis for the space!
We shot the trailer on a Red camera. I don’t know much about this stuff, but it’s one of the most amazing rigs I’ve ever seen. Huge, enormous thanks go out to Casey Green, who just completed a full run on the team for NBC’s CHUCK, for providing the camera, as well as for his expert camera-work and assistant direction. He was full of great ideas for the shoot.
My friend Joel Douek, a vastly talented composer, has offered to mix and score the trailer, as well.
The cast includes my lovely, amazing girlfriend Lauren Rock as Oksana, as well as:
Eldridge: Bryant Dillon of Fanboy Comics, who stepped into the lead role shortly before the shoot.
Boris Hagan: Vito Lapiccola of Film Ronin Media.
Marko Marinus: Leonardo Canneto
Cici: Molly Hale
Shanta Feruccio: Meghan Stewart
Daniel Gannix: Jason Fischer
Jeb Goldmist: Mike Tarzian, who also donated both his motorcycle and his bike jacket for the shoot.
Quillig: NiNo Alicea.
Pell Yannick: Jorge Andretti
Constable Tola: Hilary Vreeland
Huge thanks to everyone involved for helping to make this happen! I can’t wait to see the finished product!
