Alex Garland’s Halo

Of course, we can analyze scripts and discuss a Halo movie until we go all buggy-eyed like Arnold at the end of Total Recall.  It’s all just wishful thinking until production starts back up on this movie, and I’ll go on the record as saying I would be happy to see it do so, present script (slightly edited) included.  In the meantime, to give you a taste of what could be, check out the following videos.  The first is a commercial for Halo 3 (the game) that aired on ESPN only a single time, but has spread throughout the web like wildfire.  The latter two are short films directed by Blomkamp. They have nothing to do with the movie directly, but are more to display his vision of what this movie could look and feel like.  Enjoy!
