Wait for Light is a 4 track EP by Albuqureqe’s Stabbed in Back and man is it good. Putting your finger on their sound is quite the task, it is fast aggressive punk rock for sure, with raw honest vocals that cut deep into your core and a ton of attitude. But there are moments of harmony and moments of screaming, there are rock and roll guitar chords, and vocals that exist somewhere in between chaos and melody. It is almost as if early AFI, The Explosion, and Sweet’s Ballroomblitz recorded an EP.

The record picks you up from the first notes, thrashes you around for four songs, then lets you drop at the end. Just like any great punk record should. I have listened to this album on repeat for a few hours now…and it keeps getting better. I can only imagine what the pit is like when these guys play live.
